Food Pantry

The biggest unmet need which we address is food insecurity. Anyone who comes seeking food is welcome. TCRM’s Food Pantry offers a variety of household staples like meat, dairy, and other options. 5 days’ worth of food for the whole family is given during every pantry visit. Families need not meet any income requirements.

TCRM’s Food Pantry is open Monday – Thursday from 10am – 4pm and Friday’s from 10am – 1pm. We are closed on weekends and most major holidays.

Financial Assistance

We provide financial assistance for Tioga County residents facing emergency situations. People come to us seeking help with rent, utilities, auto repairs, and much more. You name the need, and it has come to us. (Unlike our food pantry guests, we do a complete financial intake of income and expenses for anyone seeking financial aid.)

We know that a recipient may be unable to pay back in a monetary way, so we offer “Pay It Forward.” Community service hours may be performed instead of paying back the assistance funds. **For a Financial Assistance Appointment, please call TCRM at (607)687-3021**

Ramps & Minor Repairs

TCRM’s handicap building and repair program, held during the spring/summer, is a testament to community solidarity and support. With TCRM providing all necessary materials, volunteers with the requisite skillset generously contribute their labor, ensuring accessibility for those in need.

Christmas Toy Distribution

Thanks to our friends at the VFW and Toys for Tots, TCRM holds an annual Toy Distribution at Owego’s VFW Post on Main Street each December. Guests browse the aisles for just the right toy for each of their children.
